KRAPYL hails from the cold and dark western part of Denmark!
This is the place to keep tabs on what the band is up to! KRAPYL plays thrash our own way and we put an honor in giving a great show and it doesn’t matter if it’s for 10, 100 or a thousand people, because the joy of making people headbang is what we live for. We write the music that WE want to hear, and we know others want to hear it to, we are on to something!
We live and breathe to perform on stage and we just want to give it our all and give people a full on rocking experience. Stay metal!
Bjarke Pallisgaard Andersen
Lead guitar / Backing vocal
Bjarke is the newest addition to the Krapyl roster. He began his guitar journey in 2017 in another project, and has been a part of Krapyl since summer of 2023
ESP, Chapman, Schecter and Line6 are his go-to tools of battle.
His inspirations are Metallica, Defecto, Gojira and Avenged Sevenfold.
Kasper Ølgaard Mikkelsen
Rhythm guitar / Vocals
Kasper formed a band which over time morphed into the Krapyl we now all know and love. He is the bands grand old man, but don’t be fooled, because he really knows how to scold people from the stage!
Preferred instruments: Epiphone, Mesa boogie, Line 6
Inspirations: Metallica, Gary Moore and King Diamond.
Jonathan Grønning Kappel
Drums
Jonathan is the drummer of the band. He is a self taught drummer and has been in the band since late 2020.
Current equipment of choice Natal Drums and Zildjian Cymbals.
Music inspiration: Metallica, Korn, Gojira, Arctic Monkeys and Red Hot chilli peppers.
Tonni Henriksen
Bas / Backing vocal
Tonni is the bass player of the band. He picked up the bass the very same day he started in the band, around summer 2018.
Current equipment of choice: Ltd and Squier Bass. Mesa boogie and line 6 amp.
Musical inspiration: Hatebreed, Sweet, Steel Panther, Psycostick, Metallica and Megadeth.
